Excavator sales in August were flat year-on-year, and exports were still the main force

The year-on-year positive growth of excavator sales continued to pick up.

In September, the latest data released by the China Construction Machinery Industry Association showed that according to statistics from 26 excavator manufacturers, 18,000 Excavators of various types were sold in August this year, the same as the same period last year; 0.5%.

Export markets continued to perform well. In August, 8,980 excavators were exported, a year-on-year increase of 56.7% and a month-on-month increase of 3.3%.

According to statistics from Jiemian News, the export volume of excavators accounted for 49.7% of the total sales in August this year, a record high.

In August last year, the total sales volume of excavators was 18,000 units, of which 5,726 units were exported, accounting for 31.7%.
From January to August this year, 26 companies sold a total of 179,000 excavators, a year-on-year decrease of 30.9%. Among them, 109,500 were domestically produced, a year-on-year decrease of 49.9%; 69,600 were exported, a year-on-year increase of 70.1%.
